Stadsspeurders is designed for walking together, not for sending children out on their own. This is what we pay attention to.

A tip for parents at every place
Every place has a short tip, for example about crowds, water or a spot where you need to take extra care.

Children can’t get stuck
Every task has hints. After three wrong attempts a parent can continue, so the fun stays.

A manageable walk
At most a few minutes’ walk between the places, with a rest stop halfway.

No account needed
You don’t have to log in or share any names with us. Your family’s progress stays on your own phone.

Location only on your phone
The app uses your location only while you play, to show the distance to the next place. Your location is not sent to our server.

Photos stay on your phone
In a photo task your child takes a photo for the scrapbook. That photo is stored only on your own phone (also in your Photos app, if you allow it) and is never sent to us.
Practical
- The app is for iOS (iPhone).
- Bring a fully charged phone and perhaps a power bank; the map and GPS use battery.
- Children aged 4 to 12 can play at the same time, up to five children per team.
- A tour takes about an hour and a half including a break; the route in Breda is about 1.8 kilometres.
